eLorean Motor Company, based out of Humble, Texas, has announced it’s working with electric car startup Epic EV to put an all-electric DMC-12 into production by 2013. DMC has been in the business of restoring DeLoreans or even assembling new cars to order, as the company maintains a large inventory of original parts. The electric model is expected have a maximum speed of 125 miles per hour and a motor that delivers 260 horsepower, with an MSRP around $100,000. Only the people who were with me will believe this but I seen this car on the side of the road in Coachella, CA coming back from the DXC in Los Angeles one weekend.
