No. 16 Michigan State hosted No. 6 Wisconsin tonight and I think it’s pretty cool that I got to witness what I think will be an ESPN Classic 40 years down the road. With the game all tied up at 31 a piece Kirk Cousins connects with receiver Keith Nichol after the ball was deflected right to him at the goal line.

Michigan State won the battle, but the war is not over as the Big-10 Championship game has yet to be played. It is highly probable that these two teams will meet again.

Steve Jobs’s biography, written by Walter Isaacson and due on store shelves on Monday, has a passage that suggests Apple has a TV up its sleeves. The Washington Post published a small excerpt on Friday that reveals a conversation Jobs had with Isaacson in which he says he has already created a product that could change the television industry much like the iPhone changed the mobile landscape and the iPod re-sculpted the music industry. “He very much wanted to do for television sets what he had done for computers, music players, and phones: make them simple and elegant,” Isaacson said in the book. Here’s an excerpt:

“I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use,” he told me. “It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud.” No longer would users have to fiddle with complex remotes for DVD players and cable channels. “It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.”

Rumors that Apple has plans to enter the TV market have swirled for years now. In March, Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty said checks in Asia suggested that Apple was already working on a smart TV. Earlier this summer, another rumor started by a former Apple employee said customers will soon be able to walk into an Apple Store and leave with an Apple-branded TV.

The total number of published applications in Google’s Android Market climbed past the half-million mark in September. According to data from mobile app market intelligence firm research2guidance, the Android Market surpassed 500,000 published apps last month, but over 37% of submissions have been removed over time for a variety of reasons. Apple’s App Store has had over 600,000 successful submissions to date according to the firm, while 24% of apps have been removed. “Although Apple regularly cleans up its store from inappropriate or outdated content, its active application share still exceeds that of Android,” research2guidance noted in a press release. “It is likely that the more rigid application submission requirements prevent developers from publishing multiple trial or low quality applications whereas publishers in the Android Market place a lot of market testing, trials, demo and malware content.”

DeLorean Motor Company, based out of Humble, Texas, has announced it’s working with electric car startup Epic EV to put an all-electric DMC-12 into production by 2013. DMC has been in the business of restoring DeLoreans or even assembling new cars to order, as the company maintains a large inventory of original parts. The electric model is expected have a maximum speed of 125 miles per hour and a motor that delivers 260 horsepower, with an MSRP around $100,000. Only the people who were with me will believe this but I seen this car on the side of the road in Coachella, CA coming back from the DXC in Los Angeles one weekend. Both doors were up and the hazard lights were on. If it wouldn’t have been for the password on my iPhone I would’ve had a twitpic for y’all as proof!

I had MTV Jams (chnl. 355) just playing on the TV today and seen a video by an artist that I’ve noted with some cool stuff in the past, but haven’t actively followed him in over a year. This video I thought was refreshing, had a positive message, and wasn’t shot in front of a green screen. What standards I have for videos now days right?

I would’ve been pretty upset too. San Francisco 49ers coach, Jim Harbaugh, shook hands with Detroit Lions head coach, Jim Schwartz after a close finish and shakes his hand and slaps him on the back as if he was nothing. Throughout the week more on this story will be revealed but it will be interesting to see if either coach will be fined or suspended for this incident.

The Lions were handed their first lost this season leaving only the Green Bay Packers remaining as an unbeaten team.
